gingergman
After 6 years having my mk4 cab I think its the end if the road. I did plan on using it this summer but its not financially good for me, after tax insurance and a set up (runs iffy), and where its been sat all winter the water pump is now leaking, its not worth it for the odd outing in the sun. I've got a baby on the way and can't justify spending any more time or money on it, I've already spent about 10k on it to get it how I want over the years. I'm in two minds what to do, I won't sell it complete because its got to much sentimental value to me for a few reasons. And I don't really want to just leave it standing, it costs 600 a year to keep it where it is, I'm thinking the option is to strip it down. I know id regret it, this car means the world to me and I'm not ashamed to say it brought tears to my eyes yesterday thinking about it. The one pic I took of it yesterday Decisions decisions. Guest baz9707
Its the 260 tax that does me in insurance is cheap. Would be a shame to strip it down . You could sell it abroad you would not see it agains.
Skittles80
That's where I am lucky me and my dad own ours I pay for the garage he pays for tax and insurance the looks and comments I have had recently make it worth while a few people tell me to ditch my new focus and just have the escort but I feel it would lose the appeal as a daily driver good luck with what ever you decide

gingergman
Still unsure, I want to strip it but not sure I can bring myself to do it. Family etc just say sell it, I'd rather burn it to the ground and get fuck all for it than sell it. Edited March 20, 2014 by gingergman

Ian71
I look to buy a nice clean one thats strait and do simple mods wheels, exhaust, filter. Or i buy one that someone has spent thousands on and but it for pennys, let someone else spend all there money. You know that you will never get it all back.
