Guest murcus
turn the crank around so all the piston sit half way down, pour in some, petrol or oil and leave over night. check in the morning to see if fluid is still there, easy way to check rig seal
MarineIguana
Well the engine is out and piston 3 is looking a bit rough All other bores and pistons look like this And the clutch is well past it And I have found my engine number at last in the wrong place but its there
Guest murcus
is that scores in the bore on the left hand side, and chips , or is it water marks? the top of the piston, doesnt look that bad, just the valve recess you are seeing, along with some gasket residue you not rebuilding it, while its apart?
