MarineIguana Posted September 24, 2011 Author Share Posted September 24, 2011 Well fitted a heat shield blanket to my starter and it may have cured the hot starter problem but it's only been one day so far still plenty of time to go wrong yet. These are know for getting hot and dont start.. try moving or cleaning the wires on the back of starter.my have bad connections My cab had same sort of fault and the 13mm on the back of started was f**ked it use to wobble.
