Basilbear
Well I have finally had some time off work and decided that I need to get Skippy's rusty patches sorted and his bumpers and skirts resprayed. So I took him into my nephews today and have started taking him apart, poor little thing. I have to say its a horrible feeling taking things off him, but just as well I have because behind his front bumper was a nasty bit of rust, so that will have to be sorted too! I also got his windscreen taken out as I managed to get another windscreen rubber to replace the horrible one that had gone all hard and nasty. I didn't get time to take too many piccies but here are a few.

Basilbear
Well yesterday and today I spent most of my time learning to rub down and prepare the bumpers for spraying! ha! They have now been painted tonight along with his rear light bit and round his windscreen. His battery tray has also been painted ready for fitting tomorrow. I have to say this has been one of the most stressful and exhausting experiences, having things taken off skippy and his rusty bits made better! ha! but tomorrow I shall put him all back together, so I will be happy again then. I took a few more piccies today. Thanks Avril
