Stephen Bearded Minky Hill
Just looking at the pics of the 5.5k one. It appears to have had the abs removed. There should be two plastic pipes coming off the fluid reservoir. Wouldn't bother me but thought id mention it.
allblue
The one above does not look like it has had abs as standard. Has standard reservoir from what I see. This is up for auction next coming weekend just down the road from me so would be rude not to put in a bid :-)

allblue
The on at swva auction last month with 55K on the clock (interior seems to back up mileage) but needing a new gearbox went for 1.6K as a guide. On the other hand the low miles sierra cossie went for 46K at the same auction.  Even tip top cond I don't think it will command strong money as much as a RS or hatchback XR.  Only bits I don't like are:  1) Still has old icsv valve assembly 2) Missing oriignal spots 3) No dealer front plate  Last two suggest some kind of front end impact. Viewing day before the auction, so I'm going to check it out properly an see what it's like.  The Derby car - Facebook site escort cabrio SE owners group, previous owner sold for 1.5K. New owner is taking the michael at 5K. I do remember that car from the mid to late 1990's though and it was not even in that special condition back then either! Cheers for that let us k what it's like :-) the Derby car also has Millage issue jumps from 2000 to 94000 and missing mots of the era & had a lot of repeat on mots welding etc Shame looks OK in the pics
Guest Daveaerial
Well good day at Bedford auction today That se cab went for £5500 +10% buyers fee bit out of my budget
Ian71
There is always someone ready to part with good money for the right car,was it as described ?
Guest Daveaerial
It was pretty tidy to be fair. being critical it had few deep scratches on the bonnet, painted down both sides at some point few fish eyes in the paint, the boot lock had been levered at some point & distorted the panel & drivers door forced its self open the minute you lifted the handle bit strange but overall a 8 of 10 motor
welshlad
Thought the blue se's had some sort of writing/numbers written on under the crash bar foam/pad ? as well as the obvious ski rack fixing holes
Ian71
Well 5.5k sets the bar then i suppose,if it was,not original paint etc, good news for cabby owners who do have a fairly original car.
