allblue Posted March 3, 2016 Share Posted March 3, 2016 all cabrios have engine number on the b pillar rollbar. two giveaways to identify an se: 1) roof rack mounts on a pillar as two cross head blanking plugs. 2) colour code on vin tag - SXO, as this was the only mk4 escort to have pacifica blue paint. allblue Posted March 22, 2016 Share Posted March 22, 2016 No surprise there but the car is on ebay with a price of 9k. Not worth that or what they paid - 6k from that auction in bedford. Not that great a car - its just a low mileage car and thats it. It has not been cherished by previous owners. Only worth 2.5k tops. And the wiring bodge in the engine bay fusebox is a classic.
