Guest username
Hi Vjaceslavs and welcome, those are the wheels that were fitted to the Mk5 Escort Cosworth. I think they're 16"x8" but there are replicas about in other sizes. Probably cheaper to buy replica than original too. I have to agree, these are some of my favourite wheels of all time. welshlad
I did have some myself with brand new tyres and nuts all ready to go on but i sold em partly due to needing a twin pram costing £1500 and ive changed my mind about wheel choice although i still love em
gingergman
Ive now done a whopping 108 miles in it! only issues i seem to have are the rear brakes are sometimes a bit sticky, and sometimes decides to smoke a bit! Attended classic ford show on sunday, so thought i may as well chuck some pics up!

Guest username
Looking good there mate, our Mk5 did the same trick of occasionally bellowing out a cloud of thick blue smoke for a couple of minutes (usually under full throttle, which is most of the time on a 1.6EFi!) but after a couple of hundred miles it seems to have stopped. Saying that, it has stood for a couple of weeks and when I moved it to start the roof job it nearly choked the whole street but I think that's just stem seals... gingergman
thought id wack a few pics on, seeing as its time this year will soon be over! so far only a few problems to look at over winter, a blowing exhaust (downpipe) the burning oil issue, and the aftermarket central locking box constantly hanging down from behind the dash whatever i do lol, oh and the clock didgets are giving up! first pic is a santa pod entrance photo, then the next two are professional ones from the classic ford website A couple from other shows Two from tonight, getting it ready for this weekends show, dark nights drawing in isnt helping with show prep I know its not a cabriolet but hey! this is my orion ive had for a couple of months now, brought it totally original etc, already put a lot of work into it to get it up to scratch, loving this little old car!
