gingergman
Cheers mate, I'd prefer an orange engine bay but hay! Yeah the turbo exhaust is huge compaired to the 3i one, it couldn't of been doing it good smaller than standard! Bloke I brought it from said it wernt loud, but one persons loud the next is . . . .lol. I'll fit it the weekend and see, April is getting nearer!! Guest Lee81
If you running 160bhp or more you'll need to tack weld the sections of the exhaust together plus add a mounting near rear of engine as on normal rs turbo. I had a scorpion system fitted to mine when I got it. The engine will pull the exhaust under heavy load(Boost!) and also try and bend it down. Clamps aint enough. Best system is magnex purely because it has a flexi section and stops all the problems. None of the others have this
escortrs2000.co.uk
I have to say, I've never heard of that. The scorpion that was fitted to mine when I got it was welded up, maybe they suffer from it. The mongoose I run on mine has never had a problem and it's only ever been fitted with just clamps, but it does have the additional rear mounting. gingergman
yeah believe its quite commen, they crack on the down pipe just below where it bolts up, this one has been welded up there already and just sold a batterd scorpion system with the same problem! its got a extra hanger that would be next to where the fuel pump bracket mounts up but my car doesnt so il just leave that! for the use the car gets it should be ok, and its a good fuck off weld on the down pipe lol

Guest Lee81
Should be no problem with the amount of parts stock you have lol. What colour you gonna go for? At least its easy to spray the engine bay up now
gingergman
Yeah I do have a fair amount of parts lol, do need to get anti roll bar and suspension though to get it rolling. Thinking of just going white, keep it simple, get it done inside out

gingergman
Not 100% sure yet but think mercury grey, its the cars original colour, I did want to have it white, I much prefer them in white, but there's so many about in white and not many mercury, just a gamble as I'm not a massive fan of the colour, but the picture of how I want it finished in my head it looks good lol if that makes sense.
