That’s a shame Ian,but all our lives change,hope to catch up at a show later in the year

Hi folks,could we start to let us know if anyone is going to attend this year as we have to make a decision if we apply for a stand space otherwise we could end up parked separately all over the show ground. Just leave a post on this page so we have some idea of numbers. Thank Ian.

Am not 100 per cent sure ,but I think the later models with fuel computer had a larger hole for the sender unit

I am sorry to here you have to sell your pride and joy cabby. A lot of it depends on if you want it to go to a good home or need as much money as possible for it. Some pictures on here would help us to value it, you see some rediculous prices on many car sites and they may be lucky to get near to that money on 1 or 2 but generally most people know is a sensible price for the car to sell. If the car is as good as you say I would think 5 -6 thousand make it affordable. Some would disagree and say a lot more but there are classic car dealers who have had cars for sale for large amounts and are still for sale now nearly 2 years later. Hi captain 1,difficult one to price,you see prices rising but generally mk5and mk6models are yet to reach prices of mk3 & mk4 models. You could go down the road of eBay auction and withdraw if you fell its not making enough or set you own price of 4 to 5 k and see if you are lucky enough to find a buyer. Good luck. Regards Ian.

Don't bother,it will never be worth any money,you would be better off restoring the cab to factory spec,won't be to many of em left soon.

Dunno about there carpets but there trims are good.

I used some of that Zolda fabric I bought with you 4 or 5 years ago recently,a local guy redone my drivers seat bolster and put in new foam, he also re- dyed the half leather seats which where still in fairly good order. If I lived locally to you I would have bought them to you but 300 miles is a distance. I have a three spoke leather steering wheel on my escort rs turbo which I bought several years ago off of a sierra sapphire 2000E (rare) it could do with re-trimming as the stitching is slowing degrading,what would be a price to re-do in grey leather as standard. Check vacumn pipes for leaks or not tight fitting on the ends.
