Hi Ian, only Mark and myself are on hoburne this year. We will be leaving Christchurch approx 7.30, I don't know where you are staying but you are welcome to come with us. Ollie has a convoy coming down for the day with approx 5 or 6 cars, the others are all making there own way there.

For sure,it's called simply Ford so if they are driving one Ford car with two occupants it will cost them £20 to get in and park there car on the show ground,and yes they are more than welcome to sit with us,tell them to bring chairs lol

Ten pounds per person in a car,they can bring there car in the show but from 9.00 as they are not with a club.

Look at events m8, there are a few shows in the next few weeks , three in Essex ,one in Bromley , and large shows at Santa pod and silverstone. Take your pick,you will be made welcome.

That's great news,if you live in Essex why not meet us all at a battlesbridge show ,we do 3 there ,the best one is the all Ford show beginning of august,you will be made very welcome,condition of car is not important. Regards Ian.

I had a similar problem with my mk5 roof.i had to give it two coats,but even then there were still some some spots showing. I also found it made the roof a bit Chrispy. I have managed to get a replacement second hand roof and when I fit it I am going to take it and have it cleaned by a specialist.

Ok,check vacuum hoses ( around carb) for leaks or splits, also check to see if automatic choke is opening fully. Good luck.

Is it mfi injection engine or does it have a twin choke carb ?

Was it a standard Ford camshaft or a piper or similar high lift camshaft ? I had a Kent cam in my fiesta rs and two lobes disappeared leaving me with an engine rebuild.

I have four cars with differing cvh engine set ups ,and they all have from time to time done this.

Check all the electrical connections on the battery terminals and cable to starter.

When u say did not want to start , did the engine turn over or did the starting motor not turn the engine over ? reason i ask is cvh engines are known for destroying starting motors because they get hot from the engine.

You should not need a heated rear window living on the south coast jon lol.

You need to be a full £18 member to be on the club so called stand,this also covers you insurance wise in case of damage to your car should something like a flagpole blows over on it etc ,a lot of clubs don't have this but you may not be covered on private land on your own insurance. Look forward to meeting you and your family.
