Guest Steve Posted August 10, 2010 Share Posted August 10, 2010 Hi guys I just thought i would pop a little post up thanking everyone for there support at ford fair as without you lot the members it would not be possible,it was quiet a sight 34 escort cabriolets all together, all the cars looked great too, I would also like to add a special mention to our trophy winners. 1st John Nolan---aka madfordit with his fantastic mk 4 2nd Lee Neal-----aka lee81 with the amaizing cosworth conversion 3rd Sonny Ramtohul--aka allblue with a just left the factory example of the se 500 all blue 4th Avril Thompson--aka Basilbear with skippy a blinged up mk 4 best engine bay went to John Nolan too what a engine bay it is too Member of the year went to Avril Thompson a well worthey winner i am sure you all agree. Also for continued loyalty and input in to the club awards went to. Ian Randles---aka Badger he is always willing to help on show days and allways first there last leaving Stuart Harris---aka gingerman always on the site he has a amazing post count of 2750 posts and offers a wealth of knowlage to other members Colin Tyrall--aka Ollie our southern coordinator who organises and oversees all the southern shows and is a invaluble member of the team Steve Coupe---aka me for doing what i enjoy being a part of this great club a big thanks to the coordinators Ollie,John and Ady for there help on the day and last but not least Paul our Chairman for making it ALL happen. gingergman Posted August 10, 2010 Share Posted August 10, 2010 had a great day, was the first time my cab has been with the club to a show, i usually park in the car park when going to events lol. it was good to finally meet some of you and see some faces again that i have met before, a big thanks goes to tony (cabbytech) for spending some of his time at the show fixing my electric window, so thank you mate and many thanks to paul and steve for the award, and making me part of the forum support team, thanks, stuart.
