gingergman Posted July 28, 2010 Author Share Posted July 28, 2010 the number plate has spoiled it lol, mite pull it off lol. well, the mot, erm, failed! not to bad, had a total of five failures, two of which are pretty much the same thing, sticker on my windowscreen, then the same again for another tiny sticker of the club logo, both a easy fix as i just gotta pull the lot off emissions where to high, but is was running crap, kept trying to conk out, but is better now after a good run so should be sorted. needs a patch welding on the rear of one sill (was advisory last year lol) not bad tho for its first bit of welding in 21 years. and the pain in the arse fail is the exhaust is too loud, and it is rather loud not like most boy racer exhausts, it was making the glass in the mot station rattle lol, i was told last year that is was too loud but they let me off but told me to be carefull, so i gotta change the full system inc the down pipe as mine has been fully welded up, oh the fun im gunna have. booked in for the welding on monday, bodyshop now on tuesday, cutting it fine lol. to add to my days avents with it it wouldnt start due to flat battery, jumped it, away i left, stopped at petrol station for some go go juice, then didnt wana start! i had jump leads in the boot so asked two people if they would help me, both said no! tried bump starting across the forecourt, nope lol, then a nice chap helped me push it oil light kept coming on and nearly stalling on the way there, but a good run home and now she runs spot on, only to catch my tyre putting it back in the garage resulting in a buggerd tyre, joys. that was my eventfull day lol startin the exhaust in about 8 hours Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

gingergman Posted July 29, 2010 Author Share Posted July 29, 2010 i changed the full exhaust system this morning, and pulled the stickers off, a patch of welding at the mot on monday then back home to change the zorst again lol, good job ive got spares! get the tax and then to the bodyshop tuesday now for 2-3 days to be finished properly, its cutting it fine but im positive it will make it! and i got a new tyre on it today aswell, my pockets are too empty now Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
