Guest Alanman
It's been a while since Bigcab has been out and about with its 2 and a bit year rest. I say rest, that 2 years has seen a big change to the look of Bigcab. This is what you may remember the cab looking like It went in the garage and the hard work started. Total strip down, more than any previous colour change. This was the first time the door were removed and it gave more access and a better job. After a few months thinking what have we done it was finished. I wasn't 100% on the purple until I saw it on the car in the sun and I think it's got to be one of the best colours the cab has been. It's still the same car basically, but it's now purple. It is not perfect, and I don't pretend it is. But I think it looks pretty cool for a 31 year old Escort. We have said we are going to try and use it more, not just for shows. A couple weeks ago we stuck some fuel in a just went for a ride out. Ended up doing 200 miles and went nowhere. BEst weekend we've had this year. lol. We've even taken the big subs and amps out of the back and put back the rear bench seat. This is to make it more comfy for the dog. Guest Alanman
Cheers chaps. Shows are a difficult thing really for us to plan for. Clare works shifts and a lot are Sundays but she only knows what weekends she's working a few days prior to the month starting. She can book the time off but still makes it difficult. ;-( The dog did not like the cab to start with, he has long hair and the wind was not his friend. He know knows to either sit down low or sit with his head up towards the front seats. He does have a seatbelt lead so his movement is a little restrictive for him. This is his first trip out. He is not happy. He loves it now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=28a55demxkA You can see on this picture, he knows where to sit now. lol.
