C266 HVW Was up for sale in rugby in around 2002 maybe a year before or after. It was sporting all white archs n the rest of the kit. I remember it as it was in the paper advertised as 1989 all white special edition. I was on the look out for a all blue, thought they might have misprinted the colour. Well thats what was there. It was totaly rotten everywhere. bloke had just spent 2k on a new engine and box. Was also asking a lot of money for it.

The car sold a few times after the show, it was at one time in barn in lutterworth so may explain the state it ended up in, then it dropped of radar, until reports came out of it being stacked in the wet by someone from the old production crew, quite possibly the guy you saw it for sale with

That is so sad to hear that they are both gone, on the ITV series "CAT'S EYES" i did see the white series 1 RS Turbo (C220 HVW) driven by Leslie Ash.

Another series 1 Turbo also featured in the series (C221 HVW) but what made this car special was that it was finished in Azure blue, this colour was never available as all series 1's were only available in Diamond white.

I wonder if they still exists?

you should try and contact the studio and find out what dealers for cars they used its really hard to find out details as they usually hired these cars from private individuals and they dont like their id to be known but as i said the best route is the studio or facebook some of the production staff if you can as they might be able to help.

There was a Black series 1 Turbo too, built for Princess Diana.

Only black one ever made, it's in the Bonkers collection now.

Last i heard Diana's was the only one.

Or at least the only one anyone could ever find. Who were the others for?
