Guest jonathanjead
My current winter project, due to go to some shows with my Mk1 XR2 later this year: 1989 MK4 EFi, low owners <50k miles, loads of history. Has been repainted but in good condition - starting to do a blue & white theme (bumper stripe, custom side stripe, 3i badges etc). At some point the interior will be going 2 tone grey leather (funds permitting) Currently stored waiting a little warmer weather but the house is filling up with parts: 16" RS 7 Spokes (ready for refurb & new tyres New shocks, springs New discs, drums, pads, shoes, calipers, pistons SS Exhaust Custom side stripe design by myself 'on a ford theme' and made by DMB new headlights, indicators White tonneou cover (original and restored) Should be busy soon:

Guest jonathanjead
that is nice. what steering wheel is that? I preffer that over the standard xr3i one. That's a good question - it came on teh car (original one is was in the boot). I assume it is the standard Ford RS accessory wheel. Personally I'm still not convinced about it on a Mk4 - I think they look better on Mk3's especially the RS1600i's. Will have to decide later in the year whether I want to swap them back or not, if I do I'll put a post on the for sale section.
Guest Lee81
Thats a 4 spoke rs steering wheel. On the options list for the S1 turbo i think. They sell for a small fortune

Guest jonathanjead
Thanks for all the comments - getting excited...my other show wheels went off today for full refurb and new tyres - can't wait to get them back. 16" RS 7 spokes. Were diamond cut but in a right royal mess. Getting them refinished and powder coated in silver with a medium size metal flake in. New centre caps and badges too along with new tyres.....Hope they come out as good as I'd like them.

James Yes that's right James - has the centre horn push - will give a heads up if I decide to change. Need to pull the car back together with all the other parts to see whether it fits with the overall image first.
