Makes a change to see a mk5 since so many people love the mk4s mine was gone on the bottom of the drivers wing had a plate welded in mine I see why. You need a new boot lid mind you some idiot would prob pay good money for it lol defeo needs the mirrors colour coded will look good pictured against your other one when it is done I think you need a rs2000 power bulge bonnet on your shopping list lol good luck mark

I am guessing buy the detail and quality of your work you have worked in a body shop in your time preped mine in the street for my respray in the middle of winter

Not a fan of auto glass they made a right mess of a windscreen I had fitted and that was on a new car trouble is insurance company's use them I would shop around at a few independent company's had my mk5 done by a bloke called deans,screens near Biggleswade beds neat job quality screen still good nearly 2 years on good luck and didn't break the bank either

We resoldered every joint on ours and it cured a lot of problems just take your time well worth it in the end

Yes it is spray light coat of this then primer rub down primer then spray colour before you start this job clean all plastics with white spirt removes silicones and any old dash gels/cleaners and use fine sand paper as course papers chew the plastics very easily good luck

You need to use a product called plastic adhesion promotor it is clear in colour then you primer then colour 9 out of 10 interior plastics never look right painted at home / DIY just take your time let me know how it geos the plastic adhesion promotor normally comes in a aerosol from a good trade moter factor good luck

As you are all aware from comments / post we have been looking forward to this for a long time and put a fair bit of work in to the cabby but it will now be tinged with sadness through no fault of his own aprox 3 weeks ago my dad was diagnosed with severe kidney disease this week we have been told he as 8% function left as a result he as now been admited to hospital with associated problems the doctors said he will be more than likely not be out by weekend but since he is so passionate about the show they will do there best to sort out weekend leave I am not a church man so will just have to keep my fingers crossed me and my sister will still be there as caravan is booked but just won't be the same with out dad since he put a % of the work in to the cabby it wouldn't have happened with out him every one fingers crossed please thanx mark

Not seen them in the flesh but just been sent a picture of my soft line alloys they look fantastic black with a added sparkle I owe the painter a good drink will bring them home Monday and fit Monday night ready for Friday was touch and go but got there in the end not long to go now

On the sony there's a switch you press once or twice for it the idea is if your a tart like me you can listen to CDs and the aerial will stay down I am away at moement but will have look which button it is when I get home tommow night I like this feature that's why I got a sony head unit mark
