If your painting it on a budget then just go for 2 pack solid red from the gun if you want it to last then you are better of painting in base coat colour followed by a clear laquer on top better in the long term mind you that's just by opinion some people are still die hard traditional solid red fans which is fair enough if you are painting it your self good luck in what ever you decide

Have just brought a central locking boot solenoid so we can wire it in to the remote central locking so it opens from the remote fob that we already use on the car the electric side is easy as my dad deos it for a liveing the question is how deos it connect to the boot catch which it needs to pull open and where deos the solenoid secure to in the boot lid it self had the boot trim of but it makes no sense any one got one fitted and if so any pictures please thanx mark

Early evening to day I went to see my mums grave in the cabby me being ott with it I put on all my security locks on good job I had I had not left the moter no more than five minutes when a guy runs up to me at grave side and says a doggy bloke on a push bike is hanging round your cabby when we run up to car park he was on the verge of nicking my sisters handbag silly cow had left on the floor normally I am on my guard but this time I was not what annoyed me most was he rode of to the gate stared at me me then when I run at him he rode of how low can people get in this day and age made me feel so angry on the plus side least the cabby was un harmed

Across the bulk head along side existing wires near rubber trim down a oblong hole in drivers side bulk head then remove drivers side wheel arch liner near where the wire comes through there is a big rubber cromit going in to cab with big wires coming out make a small hole along side this wire will then go through this comes out at fuse box area in cab have feed a few wires through this way it's a hard job but neat and invisible I wired our electric roof this way and our fog lights and indicators good luck

After driveing another members mk4 tennis it made me realise how noisey and rough our ride felt the mk4 felt as smooth silk so spoke to a mechanic at work he said it required the following both lower wish bones ,anti roll bar bushes ,and for good measure a rear wheel bearing and a rocker cover casket it cost £90 for bits and £80 labour the car feels completey different it has totally transformed it a real joy to drive it now feels the same as my mates mk4 the only regret is we didn't get it done sooner we have had her nearly 2 years so money well spent
