Mine is the L reg amalfie blue mk 5 at the back what a fantastic day and experience despite not being much sun still managed to get burnt. Got a face like a beet root

Little London will u be on stand at silver stone if so we can compare your Matisse blue to my amalfie blue I would say the car in the picture is Matisse blue but better be safe than sorry and still check the colour code

Just painted wings and bumpers jobs left are oil and cooling van switch pozer mouldings flat and polish and a clean I agree with maido it's about showing them of keeping the scene a live she may not be perfect buts she's built not brought and all mine good luck every one we all need it

Big g that's what every one said about mine but it was not i have seen a few where the colour code does not match what's acutaly been put on the vehicle

Mine is very similar mine is cx3 amalfie blue or it could be Matsie blue despite my vin plate saying this it don't look right so I resprayed the whole car amalfie blue you will see it at ford fair if you go it's an l reg I will look your colour code up at work tommow as I work in a body shop mark

Last night spent about 4 hours painting wings ,bumpers , 1 whole lower half not bad after a 9 hr day in another bodyshop all looks good so v happy go to pick up brand new ford focus and it has a dent in the door and not cleaned to well so to chill out over it spend the day on the escort and done the following fitted a remote central locking kit, repaired dash lights , and fix courtsy lights, jobs left which will be done for ford fair replace both door poser mouldings fit both a oil pressure and cooling fan switch then a final clean just shows you can beat an old trusty ford built not brought least you know what you get and it just shows you can't always trust a main dealer

I have mk5 Amalfi blue I am going to paint the callipers and drums red as any one else got any other ideas was going to do them body colour but a few people say it looks other the top any ideas please thanx mark

That would be good it's been achived once I am sure it can be done again there's enough of us a good day to aim for would be the 11 th August the day of ford fair every one should be in the mood for it then

I would be intrested I live in Stevenage it's only up the road from me I think you should get a good response as on the m1 corridor and pretty near to m25 and a1m will watch this space thanx mark

Those wheels look fantastic yours is the same colour as mine compared to yours my wheels now look like marbles I think mine are si wheels they were on her when I brought her got my ford fair ticket booked so hopefully see you there what blue is yours mine is on an l plate

For got to ask on the listing it states ticket admits driver and car and passengers pay on the gate but can they still order tickets direct from the organiser to get in on the day bit of a stupid question but just checking thanx mark

Ticket brought and paid for a few weeks ago couple of paint work issues but got that booked in for a couple of weeks before ford fair never had my car on a stand / show before so will be a new experience been to plenty though

Does any one know any one who powder coats colour codes rocker covers if so how much and does any one have any ideas how to make engine bay look a bit better mine is cleanish just want it to look a little bit different I am on a budget and she is a daily user not a trailor queen so don't want to through pounds on a engine bay thanx mark

If u go on ebay and look for seller mr Steve he is braking a n reg mk 6 it's not the right colour but he is nice helpfull guy and cheap he is in Kent I travelled there from Stevenage for the electric roof mech so not far for you if u can't find him message me i will look out his number if u mention mark with the roof bits he will know I recomended him to you good luck mark

With the roof up u will see it as a cloth back pull this back and you will see two bolts on each side it then slides up out of place I know I have just discovered the previous owner left them out on mine so I would be interested to know what size they are hope this helps mark

Don t use them they do the talk but not the walk they charge top end money but u don't get a top end job they take for ever use low end materials look at a car a couple of years down the line I know I have been on the inside there if my meomry is correct the blokes running are Keith and tony big avoid do plenty of home work I may have number I can recommend I need to get that persons permission first good luck let me know how u get on
