I must admit surprised this as not had much more intrest despite my cab now spending 90% of its life in the garage it's nice to have some to focus on next year do hope this goes head

How much is the entry to the show and I guess this covers you to put your car on the club stand if you so wish I enjoyed showing mine at silver stone this year already trying to make it a little bit different for next years show season thanx mark

I live in Stevenage herts and my brother nearly got caught by a bus stop speed trap at 10 at night the road was v quiet that time of night surprised they bothered

Unfortunately I don't have any of these bits but if I did I would donate them to you as you are all well aware some small bits can cost a fortune and some parts are just a pig to get hold of good luck and don't be put of by this all the best mark

Due to no fault of my own I have just lost my job I have phoned several body shops looking for work emailed cv's and yesterday drove round varies body shops looking for work still no luck in total I done 125 miles just looking so if any members / users on here own or run a body shop I am looking for work in the paint shop department prepping , primering ,masking,flating and polishing basically any thing paint work releated I have 9 and half years experience I live in Stevenage herts and I am prepared to travel 30 miles each way any offers please message me thanx mark

For the steering wheel you need a 6 hole 70mm pcd boss I have just ordered mine from a online company called mean machines found on goggle 29 pound includeing p and p just shop a round for a decent back box on line good luck

After a bit of research found out what part number was needed for my car then typed that in to ebay and got one brand new for £45 with postage now all fitted looks and sounds fantastic worth every penny

I am looking at getting a brand new boxed induction kit for my 1993 mk5 L reg 1.6 zetec lump a few of the shops on ebay are selling the kits at a good price for 1996 to 1999 but when I put in my cabby details it goes through the roof is there any differences if so what are they , would rather go with out then pay the price hike which is a shame as they look and sound good thanx mark

Any one got any advice and ideas about fitting after market steering wheels ie what bosses you use and how would I go about fitting a snap of steering wheel since my mk5 as a centre horn push button what ford as the lights and horn on one stalk and how easy would it be to fit to a mk5 and would it look the same as the wiper stalk this is the ebay item number I have been looking at 370868747634 as well as looking good I think this would be a fantastic security feature look forward to some replays thanx mark

It was good to meet up with another club member and talk and look each others cars just a shame that mine was not looking her best but after 2 weeks on loan to a friend as his daily runner and doing a 113 mile run Stevenage herts to hemsby Norfolk no body can blame her so spent the rest the rest of the afternoon returning her to her former glory she now shines again and looks like how she did at silver stone she is now ready to go in to semi retirement hope weather is good tommow after all that cleaning

For the amount of work listed I would vist a couple of modern bodyshops bottom of wings easy repair just done one of mine on drivers side only took about 1 hour to weld like I said in previous message look nice when finished if u are like me and intend to keep your cab long term then look else where try harpenden classic car and performance they have not done no work on mine but I have meet the boss Kieran and they have a proper spray booth and use decent paint 01582 469657 good luck in what ever you chose you will have to show me when finshed

Another one of my mad cap ideas that properly won't happen but I still want to explore does any one know of any one who does chrome plating near Stevenage herts it was good being on the stand in my mk5 but the bonnet at to be shut as it lets down I am not thinking conquers just a little freshen up ready for next year if not i may go the colour coding route thanx

What sort of work is required on your mk6 I work in a bodyshop about to start a new job in one so I personally would not be able to do yours but I can give some advice haveing completely resprayed mine last year let me know if I can be of any help mine is a mk5

Yes I worked there when they are finished they look good but not further down the line and they have no set plan even if they offered to do a car for free I would not go there where abouts do u live what area the decent painter they did have does not work there and they claim to have a spray booth but it is a room with a fan I would get a few prices and check out the facilties pm and I will give you a number good luck
