Bigcab's Trip To Ciney International Tuning Show Belguim

We thought we'd try a little further afield and small group of us decided that the Ciney Tuning Show in Belgium was the perfect choice. 420 miles and a trip on a ferry. woop.

Our first worry was the bearing on BigCab and whether they could do 840 mile round trip so the week before, the cab had 2 new fronts and the rears were regreased. Just in case the toolbax was filled with a spare front and rear bearing and the relevent tool for the job. Thankfully and credit to BigCab the toolbax was not needed and we had no issues at all despite Belgium's shit roads shaking and banging us within an inch of our life.

Driving on the wrong side and wrong way round roundabouts was strange but once on the main roads we soon got in to it.

We got to the show nice and early and they directed us to a few other English they were already there. Friday night was just getting our bearings and chilling but the Ciney Tuning show had a rep for being loud and it did not disappoint. They were just riding round all night on the road that surrounded the complex with their music blasting. Strangly and pleasantly supprising 90% was English music.

Saturday Morning the organisers go round the show and select 30 cars to be moved to the inside area and supprisingly the cab was one of these. Well happy, but gutted I need to give it a good clean. lol.

The styles of the cars were like the UK maybe 5 years ago, big kits, OTT styling and wheels. Some made Bigcab look pritty boring. Then they go the other way with the air rides and rediculously low cars dragging their ass round sparking and banging.

Saturday night was like Friday but 10 times louder and longer.

Sunday was the main show day and they had a live action area with drift displays, jet lorry and 8th mile drag strip to keep us entertained.

Late on in the afternoon we went back to the cab to check on it to find a sticker indecating we'd won something. Even after collecting our trophy we're not sure what catagory we won. The trophies were all the same. Even now we're not sure what. It looks good though. lol.

Didnt take too many photos forgot the camera. So a few that otheres took.

Wow, thats a big boat.

Cheers mate. The Black and white wheels were short lived. These Image splits are the new ones and these will be staying for a while. lol.

I used the DFDS Dover to Dunkirk and I was concerned about clearance height and I was in a standard car! Glad I didn't take the low one. Did they stick you down with the lorries?

yep. They were pritty good really. As soon as I started down the ramp, he saw me and directed me to the lower deck. To be fair I had no problems. There was a few others with us that were even lower than us and they didnt struggle either.
