Basilbear Posted June 20, 2011 Author Share Posted June 20, 2011 Hi everyone, Well I have spoken to the campsite today and confirmed they will definitely open up for us on the Saturday night providing we have 10+ people camping, and they will also allow us to stay Sunday night for those that want to stay an extra night following the show. The guy confirmed the camp site does have nice flat ground for the tents to be pictched and has a proper shower and toilet block and from the discussion I had with him, it would also seem he'd be quite happy for it just to be opened up for our Club. So he asked me to gather the payments and pay them in the next couple of weeks for those who definitely want to camp, and then if there are a few undecided members who won't know till nearer the time, he has agreed that they can turn up and pay on the day. But we must have 10+ people paying up front though otherwise they won't open the site up for us. The camp site is The New Rookery and its just down the road from the Silverstone entrance. Its £12.50 per adult per night. So the best way for me to collect the money in is via paypal probably to myself and then I will let them have the overall payment and list of members names so that they are aware of who's paid and attending. So I need the payments in to me please by Friday 8th July. My Paypal address is avril.thompson@btinternet.com and i would need the payment to be done as a 'personal gift' so we don't pay any paypal fees plase. Oh Ian I'm so sorry.....I had you on my bit of paper as well with Steven as a possibe.....very very sorry Yes I was going to stay sunday and I think Steve and Sharon will stay sunday and also John and Ky, So is that ok for you to stay and we drive home on the Monday morning like last year?
