Basilbear
Well as i'm on hols from work I decided to do skippy's interior. I've had some plastic paint mixed up for a few months now and not had time to use it. Its the same light grey as his seats so hope it looks ok when fitted! ha! Lucky i have managed to put together a spare set of speaker pods, etc, as didn;t want to ruin his existing interior if it doesn't look right. So here's some BEFORE piccies:

allblue
Hey, someones been busy. Looking great those, especially the speaker pods. Are you going to fit them for Ford Fair?
Basilbear
Yes I hope to fit them all tomorrow! ha! got to take the existing interior out though first though but then it will hopefully be easier to take a side out and then refit in the reverse order! ha! This was an experiment really to see what it looks like, so the interior is all made up of the spares I found and they weren't in the best condition. So if it looks ok then I may do Skippy's existing interior and then put this back to the original ford grey. Thanks Avril
allblue
I look forward to seeing the finished article at Ford Fair Getting very hard these days to source good quality interior trim for cabs.

Basilbear
And here are some follow on piccies from today when I took out all the old interior and swapped it with the ones i've sprayed. Well that was a little traumatic as whilst i've taken interiors out before and put things back, i've never swapped a dash! ha! The good news is though that everything still works after i put the new one in. I just need to get the Steering Wheel nut checked to make sure its tight enough! ha! Basilbear
Well I finally took some more piccies of Skippy's finished interior. I ended up doing the dash, rear speaker pods and door cards, front speaker covers and door cards and sill covers, oh and the tonneau cover. The plastic paint seems to like the more flexible vinyl coverings more so than the hard plastic of the dash. So I shall see how it wears! thanks Avril
