Guest vinnyvangough
Well thought as it was such a nice day, i'd make a new bracket for my fuel pump, as the old one had rotted away badly. So, this is what was left of the original bracket I then found an old bit of sheet steel i had kicking around..... Cut it down to the right width, made sure it was longer than i needed.... Shamphered the edges down...... Marked the shape of the old bracket.... Cut and shamphered that..... Cleaned the steel a bit...... Drilled the hole (Although this was elongated for adjustment later)....
Guest vinnyvangough
Put it in the bender ready for bending... Bent 90 degrees and started on the curve shap... Measured, cut and shamphered the end to the right shape and also put a slight bend on the locating lugs..... Sprayed it up blue (Was the only colour paint i had on the shelf).... And now fitted and adjusted on the car What you all think?

Guest vinnyvangough
Well managed to find a new battery tray and surround for £30 delivered. Not cost effective for me to make one. So i think i will make some covers for under the bonnet like the washer bottle etc etc Day job for me is a Plumber and since i have been signed off after a RTA 2 years ago i been helping out a mate of mine doing full car graphics, vinyl wraps, stickers, mugs, custom clothing etc etc As for the fabrication, just something i managed to pick up. Aint done much of it before but i thought to myself "Well it cant be too hard can it?" and just done it lol
Guest vinnyvangough
Well she went for MOT today FAILED Nothing major. Nearside rear tyre has a cut in excess of the requirements deep enough to reach the ply or cords Nearside and offside rear brake hose ferrule excessively corroded Nearside front inner wing suspension spring mounting prescribed area is excessivly corroded Booked in to be done on Friday. Got a spare tyre at home too so will get that on. She is absoloutly fantastic underneath. Never been welded on the sills, never been welded underneath, no rust at all on the underside. Will get her painted up and protected as soon as poss.

Guest vinnyvangough
Well gona go with a grey wrap i think. But not for a while. Been out today and picked up 2 sets of Recaro seats today, 1 for my Cabby and the other set for my bro's van. Not perfect but they will do, but not gonna complain for £60.
