hi people we are planning a europeon tour for 2012 including a day or 2 at the world famous nurburgring. this is being planned and we will need to start booking hotels and ferry's from the new year so if your seriously intrested then you need to let us know by adding to this post and then we can start sorting out. here are the basic details and look at possible route/ideas for the trip just to give you an idea of price and whats going to happen while away. ESCORTCABRIOLETCLUB EUROPEON TOUR 2012 Travel. leaving on saturday 25th august and return on saturday 1st september Stena Ferry from Harwich(return with evening meal) £328 breakfast is £14 extra each ferry sales at 23.15 out and 22.30 homewards. P&o ferry from hull £488 for same. Eurotunnel is £70 each way. Remember you’d have to add meals and hotel to this. Trip. This is all just for consideration and not fixed Sunday morning. Hook of Holland to liege(Belgium) Short route is 132miles fast is 151 miles. Monday liege to nurburg. Short 83 fast 100 Tuesday at track/sight seeing Wednesday nurburg to Arnhem Short 146 fast 160 Thursday Arnhem to Amsterdam Short 60 fast 63 Friday Amsterdam to Hook of Holland Both 50 miles. Hotels. all prices are for double room and in euro but with parking liege . campanile luik 72.50 / breakfast extra ibis liege seraing 70.00 /breakfast extra nurgurg. Hotel anders nordschleife 75.00 including breakfast (2 nights needed) Arnhem. Hotel de paasberg 80.00 including breakfast Amsterdam. bruce is alive many thanks to avul (mark) who had a spare box i spent the afternoon dropping the old one and putting the new one in i have learnt a thing or 2 this afternoon the origanal box that i brought some 4-5 years ago was advertised as an rs turbo lsd box but because the drive shaft ends were in to keep the oil in i never checked it and just brought it home and bolted it on and then just cliped the drive shafts into the ends. well it turns out is was a standard box (no lsd) but the bearings are totally shot to pieces. so i'm now on the look out for a rs turbo box with lsd (and i'll be checking ) and i do have to say i've given that gearbox a real pounding so it ain't done bad.

new router has turned up so happy days I'M BACK LOL

stanard box on it's way i'll swap them over monday then send the rs turbo box away to be reconditioned..

during the show at battlesbridge it was spotted that bruce had a small oil leak on investigation we belived it to be a driveshaft seal so today i had a good look and the results are not good it looks like the diff bearings are cream crackered and so i need a replacement box or this one reconditioned. now the problem with this is i am ment to be driving to middlesborough for the bank holiday meet so its a good job i'm on holiday next week as i'm going to be busy again... just in case you don't know this is bruce below
