as above plus you can use mk4 efi loom and ecu zetec escort water pump zetec alternator you can use gearbox,starter moter from cvh i'd uprate clutch i'm on my second rs turbo clutch and will uprate to racing clutch next. i needed to uprate gearbox mounts as well. you need exhaust manifold and down pipe to mate the exhausts up. you need to modify engine mount. and make some mix and match water pipes. a lot of people go straight for the 1.8 130bhp escort lump as there's a lot less work. if your intrested in doing this i can guide you through it as i am currently running this system in my mk4 at the moment. and as they say i have been there and done it.

hi mate your window problem is a common fault and you'll find some teeth missing from the runner you can ever replace unit or repair your one i have done this to 2 cabs and both work well. check your fuses for your lights. front wishbones are a common fault and at £20 each there a cheap fix.

i think tacha has a point an early evening weekend meet on a saturday or sunday means people can get home at a resonable time but will have to watch out for them clashing with shows in the summer. i voted for a thursday as this is the best day for me but would be happy with a weekend meet if it means more people attend.

mi fella if you take off door panel there's 2 adjusters 1 at the back which moves the rear of window and 1 in the middle of the unit. thats the one you want,it's a 10mm nut, undo it slightly and move the block, retighten and try window, keep ajusting a bit at a time untill it fits correctly. i hope this helps ian

hi mate when you say flat battery do you mean it just clicks if so you'll find it's a battery problem.you'll find the imobiliser has triggered because of a low battery and after left for say 30 mins etc the battery will regain on it's own and the imobiliser says its ok and lets you start the car i had this problem with my mk6 and i cured it with a new one. i hope this helps ian

as said here if you open the tap on the roof pump it'll allow you to operate the roof manually..

from what you've said i'd start by checking the timing??????

no fella you would not get the spark if it was crank postion sensor check you have spark from both sides of your coil pack then if your not getting fuel passed injectors its an edis or ecu fault.
