  1. i had a simular type of problem with a 1996 model once that had sat in the garage for a few years and it turned out to be the front flexible hoses had perished and in effect closed the inner pipe hole to next to nothing, so the pedal felt right but the calipers were not moving far and the brakes were not working fully, once i had replaced them all was good .now i'm not saying this is the problem but might be worth a look.
  2. yes paul i think that is for the best but what a shame i'll give you a bell soon and we will catch up.

  12. defo sounds like it. do as ollie says and all should be good
  13. any drive shaft from a mk3 or 4 escort will be fine
  14. the driveshaft should fit ok i use them in mine with zetec conversion when you say it pulls away from front wheel when driving do you mean the whole thing cv joint as well or just the shaft from the cv joint.
  15. you will need to swap some bits to get the mondeo engine to fit . your better going for the escort 1.8 zetec lump found in xr3i's or si's as these are 130bhp and are a straight swap if you do put a mondeo lump in at least go for the 2,0 ltr.

  19. hi milkey to have your car on the club stand you need to be a full member of the club and then once you've joined you can to the event section and sign up to any of the shows (the entry fee for show will need paying when you sign up) this allows the car and 1 person entry into ford fair any other passengers will need to pay at the gate.
