I think the prices differ from area to area, there are a lot of spray shops around my way and nearly all of them quote £1200 baked, I found one that is £1350 with an 8 year warranty, not bad !!!

If you have no joy with the roof your self it would be an idea to get it checked by an Auto Electrition, if the roof pump needs a new 'COG' (Common problem) then se have them in the Club Shop, if your pump is knackerd I have a mint one for sale !!! Good luck !!!

Cut out some holes in the Tin parcel shelf behind the rear seats, a nice person has already done this for me, one less job to do !!! You won't hear much with the roof down but you can't anyway lol !!!

For some strange reason PIP you get rear winders on some !!! My Cab is top spec but it doesn't have a footwell lighting kit !!!

Hi Guys, Brutus has pretty much knocked this one on the head, Mk5a, Mk5b and Mk6 roofs all fit each other, but unless its fitted by a specialist the vinal roofs shink in the cold and are harder to fit, any one of the Peeps who have a vinal roof will know that your roof pretty much falls down in the summer but its stiff and creaks in the winter !!! If you have any probs mate if might be worth popping along to your nearest roof fitter for a finishing touch of finesse !!!

You can get a decent one for around £300 fitted !!!

Your Cab should have key operated central locking factory fitted mate !!! Or is it you want it to be done via a fob ???

Hi Cary !!! :big_wave: to The ESCORT CABRIOLET CLUB !!! The roof can be converted to be electric, you need the wiring loom, rams and pump, they pretty much bolt on to the manual roof !!! Eggsy has 3 roofs for sale and there is a thread for them on the 'Assesories Parts and Spares' forum, they are all around 6 months old !!! You can fit a 1.8 or a 2.0 ZETEC from a Mk5/Mk6 Cab but you will need to ask the Guys who have done it for details, no2lurch did a 1.8 conversion and Andy did a 2.0 conversion with a Turbo convesion too !!! eBay is a good place to look for body kits, interior trim and for a lot of the above items !!!
