Looking more like a 2 year project theres always summat that stops me in my tracks. Although the new hurdle ive got is identical twins due June so all spare funds are being saved up to buy stuff for them etc dont need much really apart from a respray still, some more sound deadening, and front/back door rubbers, and obv the main thing to go and pick up my seats from Mondo Its def not mission aborted yet! lol especially as they reckon we might have a good bit of sun this year

I would of loved to have gone on this, but my car is still in garage, havnt had my seats back from Mondo and ive got identical twins due june so need all the spare cash for prams/seats etc etc lol

Looking good wish i had the motivation and time to finish mine off, im still having problems fitting the clutch cable and i still havnt had my seats/panels back what shocks springs are they and how much were they? i havnt long put new standard stuff on but ive got the same rims as you so def gonna have to change it all!

try a efi boost valve if you can find one cheap or perhaps there a slight air leak somewere??

its a German import although they are all from Germany anyway lol it will look nice when ive finished just waiting on my full leather retrim to be completed then il have the motivation to finish everything else

my skirts have been sealed prior to having its last spray job so hopefully theres no rust beneath them. Ill prob reseal them if them if i take em off, it makes sense in the long run methinks my skirts are non genuine too as they have no jacking point covers (which isnt a bad thing) my cabs original colour is silver too but its just not my thing, standard colour wise the aquas are my fav although i do like the amethyst ones too

ive got a zip tie on my half leather recaros works perfect,, not worth replacing the cable as the seats are in need of serious repair, luckily i should be getting my fresh newly trimmed ones back soon

Bit of a update being as its now looking like a 12month project Had a update of Mondo (hidenseat) hes been having problems with the design of my front door cards so hes on design number 4 i think he said so due to the delay ive lost all motivation as well as having my usual day job and a canal boat to sand - rust proof and paint (what a mission thats being) Yesterday while i had a good few hours of no work i decided to carry on fitting the clutch cable to the peddle so decide to take the dash out, lucky i did because i noticed that the main red radio power wire was melted for about a meter across the loom so obv i sorted that, so i checked all the alarm wiring and found 5 areas of wiring that required attention and 6 wires that were bare on the ends with no tape etc on them im lucky i havnt lost my car due to fire. Perhaps there was my battery dying problem i had last year. i think im going to spray the dash black while it is out otherwise it wont match the seats/cards and new carpet. its def not going to be ready this year i think but at least ill have plenty of time to spray it, fit the new mohair hood, buy some new suspension (even tho its got new standard stuff on) and fit my old skool awesome sound system maybe ill have a months worth of cruising around before it gets locked up in the garage Theres a 94 fiesta rs 1800 next to my garage too, been there for years and kids have smashed all windows in it, im going to try and buy it i think for the engine, id love to use it a daily runner but ive just bought a 125 enduro and the boss/wife says no lol

whats the problem, which one have you got? the one on the strut or the other one? doesnt really make a difference. carb cleaner is the best thing to use to clean it out if your thinking about taking it off/apart (easy job)

yes should be near driver side strut top or on the left hand side of the throttle body

could be the fuel regulator has it got glue stuff in the top of it? if not then someone might of adjusted it or it could be nackered
