I am just wondering what people think the best form of security is (for a reasonableish price). As far as I am aware there is no immobiliser or alarm on it as standard, though I might be wrong, I haven't looked into it yet. I've heard a Thatcham is obviously the best but a bit too expansive really. Just wondering what other people think would be reasonable. Also, what is the deal with delocking? I've read some posts on here about it but am not sure how it works. How would you get into the car etc. Anyway, any advice most appreciated. Skittles80 Posted May 21, 2016 Share Posted May 21, 2016 On ours we have an old school chip immobiliser but I believe in a visual deterant so as well as the said immobiliser we always fit a steering wheel disc lock which is thatcham approved and a hand brake lock even put these on when it's parked in the garage as well Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There are many alarm/imobileisers available for these cars costing from 200 - 1000 for a tracker,it really depends how much you are going to use the car. I have a steering wheel disk lock and handbrake lack that goes around the gear stick and it's in the garage locked away. I don't like leaving it on my drive overnight.
