Guest olive01254 Posted August 17, 2014 Share Posted August 17, 2014 hi there i have just bought a mk 4 xr3i cab she starts and runs no problem but when cornering hard or in tight corners it cuts out,is this the fuel pump relay or is it something more serious many thank. Ian71 Posted August 17, 2014 Share Posted August 17, 2014 Might sound stupid but have you power washed the engine ? I once had the same problem on a differant car and it turned out to be a bit of water in the distributer cap,was fine until the vehicle went round corners and the water shorted the power out.
