badger
yes do it, they would have to agree the price with you, but you'll then get what its worth rather than book price if the worse was to happen.

gingergman
If you go with a classic car policy they give you the option, as long as you don't tell them fibs I'd get an agreed value.
Guest gashy99
Yes Ive got her on a classic car policy and the insurance company asked if I want a fixed value on the car and if I do that a club member will be able to assess the value for me and then I could forward that to my insurance with 6 photos for agreed value assessment. So any help would be much appreciated.

Guest John
i've just done my agreed valuation with lancaster insurance. 1500 miles full comp agreed value £2500 prob is more but more u want more u end up paying each year in premium. i wont be out of pocket if any thing happens to her. its a 1 owner full documented history bill of sale /service history etc. ive done a full restoration. http://www.escortcabrioletclub.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/21436-new-cabbie/ another club member has just purchased a se 500 been stored 9 years 55000 gen miles its a cracker for £900 its a stolen recovery on a q plate. insurance companies do look around & compare prices so if you go to high they may not give you a price you want then you could end up with just scrappage value which is nowt.
