Admin Ollie Posted June 22, 2013 Admin Share Posted June 22, 2013 well it was that time again i took it to a new mot centre today as the guy who usually does my mot has been off work and only one licensed to mot thought perfect opportunity for someone to put a fresh pair of eyes over it . well got there nice and early and dropped the car and keys off and went through all the little bits like its lowered / alarm system the fella was a bit miserable so off i went for an hour well got back and he said its failed on a couple of bits nearside front wheel bearing excessive play nearside rear wheel bearing excessive play and an advisory offside rear wheel bearing has slight play not bad to be honest as ive not really done much to it lately reckon could be a lot to do with the car being slightly lowered aswell well the rears i think i can adjust the front is gonna be a little more involved ollie Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

welshlad Posted June 23, 2013 Share Posted June 23, 2013 I think my front wheel bearing has gone again too, front hub nut keeps on loosening by itself even tho ive hammered the lip over twice! think its had it but dnt want to buy new bearings just for a hub nut or does any one know if you can buy them separately? Guest John Posted June 23, 2013 Share Posted June 23, 2013 mine failed on siezed wheel cylinder on back been like it since ford fair. i put new cylinders on both sides & bearings on rear £35 for the bits took 3 hrs i also changed the small bit of brake pipe & flushed fluid out. shes ready for wickstead park next weekend. didnt wanna risk a 550 miles round trip. get her sorted fella wont take ya long Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
