Guest Pasi Mäkelä
Hey folks! I`m 46 year old fart from Finland. I have one MK5 1,6 16-valve -93 in pretty good shape here in freezing winter of Finland. I bought it for my daughter when she got her drivinglicence last summer but I have been driven it myself since;) Maybe I bought it for myself, heaven knows. It`s very nice driving topless those few days it ´s possible:) It`s great to have a cabriolet-car here in Finland. Hot summer is worth of long waiting. The car is imported used from Germany year 2003 and been never driven in winter. Without rost and collisions. They did not import any of these models those days because of the recession here in Finland when it was new. This year model is very rare here. Now it`s in original condition. Mileage 143000. Still running great:) When I bought it, only missing part was the roof tonneau cover, but I managed to buy it on eBay from England only for ~40 pounds cost in perfect condition:) Because this car has so very powerful heater compared for newer cars I decided to try it for winter conditions, I installed wintertyres and have used it every day dispite of comments using cabriolet in winter here in Finland. This winter has not yet shown it`s worse parts but I have used it in -22 degrees celcious without problems. I have motorheater installed ofc. This Ford is the warmest car I have driven ever, believe it or not. Those tyres in that picture were installed when I bought it , lowprofile 205/45-17" makes driving a nightmare on unbelievable bad Finnish routes but with normal size wintertyres 165/80-14 with steelwheels it`s quite comfortable, but what man stands with the beauty:)

allblue
Hi, Nice cabrio. Do like the colour. Thats the best thing about cabrios, it;s like having two cars for the price of one. When the sun come out and the roof goes down, it's like driving a different car
