Guest samrscab Posted April 12, 2011 Share Posted April 12, 2011 hi all, yes you saw right was on swapz in a moment of weakness and nearly giving in!!! but i am going to try stick with it and get it sorted, it just seems to be one thing after another at min, if anyone knows of anywhere in the somerset/north somerset area where i can get my carbs flowbenched or tuned properly will be big help as engine ect runnin fine but the carbs are being a pain in the backside! but rest assure she not going nowhere!!! UPGRADES/MODS FOR FUTURE (after middle of may) * HAVE WHEELS DONE IN POLARISE GREY *SORT BODY WORK OUT ( MAYBE A FULL BLOWOVER) *UPGRADE THE BRAKES *UPGRADE EXHAUST SYSTEM *HAVE RETRIM OF SEATS ECT IN BLACK LEATHER WITH WHITE PIPING. Good stuff that should see 150bhp then if there set up well. i would not be in any major rush to start splashing the cash on the megajolt as wiring it in on the edis4 will get it up and running well enough for even daily use, then fit megajolt later to ease the £££ hit in one go if need be. As i have a few full wiring set-up's here and now have the knowledge to do it again if you get stuck just ask away. As i have a few full wiring set-up's here and now have the knowledge to do it again if you get stuck just ask away. yeh its going to be a: Full 1.8 zetec out of my mates mk5 orion (as he doing full rs2000 convertion) loom & ecu out of his car, lsd rs turbo gearbox, and 2.0 cams out of the mondeo and dont you worry you will be fed up of me asking questions by the time we done haha. thanks .sam. Guest gavintwopies Posted April 28, 2011 Share Posted April 28, 2011 Well i would assume that your mate will be simply unplugging the engine bay loom at the bulk head and then handing the lot to you with the cu still plugged in? If so get ya self down the local scrappy and get the other end of the plug your m8 unplugged by snipping it off with enough wires so you can extend them to run inside the car for the relays and any other connections you need to make under the bonnet, thats a good start by anyones standard.
