Basilbear
Well i've had a great weekend although Skippy was bad yesterday when his key broke in his steering lock! ha! Well the stalk bit came off the holder bit! ha! That was my mates fault as his snapped it off before and I superglued it back in, but it must have come loose, so now its super glued with better stuff this time! Apart from that I found some time to sort out the spare filler pipe, sender unit and fuel pump bracket for skippy. I bought a new fuel tank and pump and thought i might as well clean up the spares I had so they are all nice and shiny!

Basilbear
It wasn't the best Stuart, I had to rub it down and get all the rust off of it! ha! but its still quite solid so I shall see if Skippy's is any better when i take it off. I did manage to get some new rubber bung thingys though.
gingergman
where did you get the rubbers from?
Basilbear
I'll find out where they got them from Stuart. They were the 3 smaller bungs they got for me. The bigger rubber bungs were the originals.

Basilbear
Well I have now cleaned up some headlights for Skippy to get rid of the brown ones. I did get some nice shiny carello ones but they turned out to be left hand drive and Skippy didn't like those much! ha! So I have to take them off him and decided to refit his old ones, but I have cleaned them up a bit. Also got some new door rubbers from East Kent trim supplies and they are excellent. Needed chopping a bit as they are really for a tin top, but they fit a treat. here are some piccies!
