Guest R5CPK Posted February 5, 2010 Share Posted February 5, 2010 Thought I'd post a few pics of my 1988 Mk4 XR3i cabriolet as it's close to being fully restored. I am the second owner of this mostly original car. I now have everything working. Electric hood, windows, mirrors, aerial. A couple of bits of trim and finishing touches and it should last a good few more years. Tried to keep it as standard as possible but have updated a few things slightly. Next stage is to set the engine up correctly and replace the cam belt. I planned to keep this car indefinately however it may soon be up for sale due to a change in circumstances.
