well people my last post has been closed allthough i had been adding to it as and when things were done.

 

here are the latest photo's.

rear end poly bushed and lowered by 30mm

i've got strut brace and new rocker cover coming back from power coaters and also two wheels that i've had done.

cab looks grand..nice to see another ghia still going..

 

dunno if ya intrested but ive a pair of ghia door cards in the loft im never gonna use if ya looking?

wish i thought of that with the doorcard, could have repaired it instead of tiping it, and then i would have had two decent spare ones. :sad:

well people i picked up parts from powdercoaters and what a great job they done.

 

here is the wheel before it went.

That strut brace is great mate, was it hard to do as I might be after one in the future ??? :biggrin:

 

 

it wasn't to bad but i did get some help with the welding and pipe bending

well just a quick update i've had the inlet manifold powder coated and done my own little bit of art work on it and here is how it looks.

where did you get your strut brace m8y????

i made it at work fella. so it's custom made but wasn't easy and the powder coating is allready coming off where its cracked so might have to remake and re-enforce this time

hi lee

it was quite simple really you need to use the origanal cvh engine mount and modify it the top 2 holes line up you just need bottom 2 moved

look on this site it tells you most that you need to know.

well me and my nephew finished my ice install

i have a alpine head unit 4x apline conponant speakers and a kicker sub in the boot here is the pictures of speakers.

looks good, the zetec loks more at home in the mk4 than it does in the mk5

 

 

the powdercoating sets it off

 

is it the 2.0 you have used?

how easy to fit the bushes in the rear swinging arm fella ...its my next job lol

the bushes were simply they came in 2 parts with 1 centre sleeve the hard part was removing the old bushes.
