Guest dee1orean
Wish I could say there's been progress on the project but unfortunately soon after I moved the car to the lock up everyone pulled out and so we had to give it up. She's now stored in a council garage which has no electricity so I'm limited in what I can do. I haven't given up though. I'm hoping that once this Jaguar trackcar is complete I can get the cabby back down the college and crack on. We'll have to wait and see. Guest dee1orean
hi m8 hows the cab coming along Hey Darren, Not to much to report at the mo, She's still stored in a council garage over in Langney (Well I hope she is anyway!! I ain't been over there for a while LOL). I'm hoping to get her back down the college about July time when the students have all finished. I've got one small 1 1/2inch hole in the sill to weld up then some surface rust to sand off and treat and two small dents, on e in the N\S door and one in the O\S front wing, that'll be it for bodywork, she'll be ready to paint. After paint have to figure out the fuel neck mounting then it'll be time for reassembly. I was hoping to enlist your help at this stage as I know you've taken these things apart a few times so putting one back together should be a breeze!! got a few parts to source. A windscreen, Preferably heated as the wiring is all there, be a shame not to use it!! window weatherstrips and a few other bits and bobs, gonna fully polybush her too. so she's not that far off really! hope you get this finished .....any more work done on it yet ...... any more pics Good luck finishing your project. I see a lot of dedication on your part has gone into it so far, well done. Thanks guys, Watch this space LOL!!!
