Admin Ollie Posted September 17, 2007 Admin Share Posted September 17, 2007 well as you all no i have brought an all white se on a c plate i was gonna start the work after the shows and i cant wait that long lol my plan is to restore it if i can or at least get it back to its former glory with the use of a big workshop in the dry the cab has cost me £250 and with no price in mind of what it will cost me to get it looking the bollocks ie pretty much standard i have seen these se cabs go for between £1000 and £3500 depending on 16i or turbo lumps of course heres a few piccys for you all some good some bad any comments welcome and tips even more welcome lol this is a first project for me so the only thing i wont be doing is the paint job going to log all photos so when i am finished i can look back on them here goes this is how i brought her then brought the car home and was very suprised how well it drove considering very responsive and the gearbox is all good so in the lockup it went kept popping in and out the lockup lol and then brought it out and had a good look around to see what she looked like in the daylight Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Maybe a good idea to remove that dirt, underseal covering the metal and see whats lurking behind? I'm also suprised that there doed not seem to be any rot on the wheel arches. Usually a breeding ground with a bodykit in place. not sure about brave allblue more stupid lol the inner wings dont seem that bad apart from what you can see at the front in the pic . like the front outer wing where the light adjusters are were rotten the front panel where it met the wings was the same too but to my suprise all the arches were spot on not a bit off rot behind the kit the rear boot has gone on the floor and below the rear lights aswell a water trap and the only other concern is the fuel neck is rotten not bad realy lots more pics to come once i get in and disturb all that rust with a hammer and a grinder lol ollie Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
