i have a book called ford in Britain (a history of the company and the cars) its by Haynes and lists all limited editions up to around 2000

im local to Haverhill (I'm from Sudbury) but have never done just the outer roof on a mk6 so wouldn't attempt it, I have swapped a complete hood before and that's not to bad

if you join any breakdown company i.e rac you can join as a person not just 1 car its about £90 and will then cover you whatever you driving or even a passenger in.

yes simon I think we are all looking at different things and then we need to sort out a plan of attack and get it done

yea quite a simple job really but not for the fainthearted I'd get it done by a pro if in doubt because it can make or break the look of a car

well people the plan would be to drive through France to Monaco spend a couple of days around Monaco then travel over/through the alps and then through the black forest and some foot down fun up the autobahn before crossing back across Belgium to our return home or the other way round and also adding extras along the way depending on time and route.

hi jo me again if you want to come visit I can show you everything and go through it all with you I have fitted 2 roof frames and converted mine to power roof as well. or wait till I put mine back on road (april) and i'll come visit you -
as some might know every couple of years we try to sort a road trip and we are looking into doing the same this year and the thoughts are to drive across France and visit the famous Monaco and even drive around some of the grand prix circuit if you think you might be intrested in joining us or you've been before and have some advise or you'd just like to add anything that'll help us please post away..
