  1. We enjoyed the day, came back to find my car all on it's own lol
  2. We shall aim to get there around the same time then. See you there
  3. If you can tell me the paint code from the chassis plate I should be able to tell you, also the year of the car. Thanks.
  4. I'm not 100% sure but I think it might be the white plug by the diagnostic plug.
  5. I'll stay away from the drag strip this year then lol
  6. All sorted now chaps. Sorry to hear that Ollie. See you at ford fair mate
  7. I've had an email saying I haven't payed for my ticket but I have lol. I can't find the "events system" to put my name down
  8. I use mine every day and they tend to last a couple of years. And alternators die after about 4 ish years lol
  9. I don't even know how many new starters I've had over the years. Even with the heat shield and wrapped the exhaust. Just seems like they only last so long and because of where they are they get hot and lazy.
  10. I don't mind. Yeh the price has gone up but u get a t-shirt lol . I'm proud of my car so I want to show it. I was a bit miffed last year because we were parked in all the gravel and dust so all our cars were filthy within an hour.
  11. Yes from that code it's moondust. If you're just doing a bumper you can do it edge to edge but if it's on the side it's best to blend the adjacent panel.
  12. No worries mate. I might have a tinker with mine see what happens lol
  13. I thought cfi was single point injection like a carb but with an injector in. Usually on smaller engines. Efi is the most common (electronic fuel injection) and the sefi (sequential electronic fuel injection) was used on some sierr dohc engines and some pinto engines.
  14. According to my database it should be "state blue". Although that is in the 1996 section. There is no "F" in 1997 for the escort.
  15. A friend of mine has a fiesta turbo. She had a problem with a new sensor being slightly too short when compared to the original. Also when I swapped my gearbox once I damaged the crank sensor wire. Check for damage and conductivity with the multimeter.
  16. My indicators packed up when a little black wire came off the battery.
  17. Just wondering as its been stood a while. Has the heater matrix sprung a leak? It's right above the ecu. A soggy ecu will cause all sorts of problems
  18. I'm running a fiesta turbo engine and I've got a mk3 fiesta 1.8 diesel gearbox. I got through 3 normal ones before I fitted it but this one is lasting well.
  19. The old abs like what WAS on mine and some other mk4s was run off two belts on each driveshaft to two modulators just above. I had a flickery light then it was on constantly. Turned out the end of one of the sensors had snapped off. That old system is crap and leaves you with brown pants if you lock up and it kicks in lol. I took it off ages ago. Frees up more room in the bay too as no matter what you want to do they're in the way lol.
  20. A fresh tank of fuel or a new tank itself? I had a similar issue on a fiesta. Investigate the distributor and the little module on the side.....
  21. Would anyone be able to bring one of the club branded sun shades with them on Sunday? If not no worries I can just get one through the site.
