thought i would give the s1 alloys a clean the brake dust is a nightmare to get off heres how far i have got now this is how i wanna get them all looking

hi mr g if you take your door panel off there is a 10mm bolt that adjusts your window up or down easy enough to find as it has a slot for movement ollie

see what ya saying theres a button under the mirror to open the door has the boot been delocked aswell i have taken my locks from my mrk3 but going to leave the rear boot one in for emergency entry through the backseats

got a bargain on this trim eric and only local aswell m8 was on ebay for £50 lol so i made him an offer he could not refuse well pleased with them

engine out today ready for the paint job and new engine seems to be getting there now

still loads to do m8 but all the hard work is done paint it then putting back together i shall enjoy lol

getting there slowly but surely the new doors are on the new engine to go in the new interior s1 seats it is coming along nicely now so hope to be going to the paint shop at the end of this month :party09:

yeah my 17s rubbed like fook with a load in the cab so check first before you buy m8 unlike me i went and paid £400 then found out lol ollie

hi charley i had one of these on my sierra if you can get to the actuater on the inside of the door lock disconect it from there for now till you get time to have a proper look

well the fuse 21 seems to be the problem when the fuse is taken out everything is fine and this fuse works radio ,int lights. cigar lighter and clock so what would be the best way to check what is pulling power as they are all pemanant live when the key is out thanks ollie

Good work fella, just scrapped my old old cab, shame i didnt have the skills to rebuild it but it would have taken a whole team to sort it out. a lot worse condition than yours rottern bulk head/begind dash could see the engine the brake master was held on by a zip tag!! and inner arches + much more cant wait to see your car when its back together your not wrong there chopper glad i found someone who can do the job i must say when i first started stripping it down i had second thoughts about it lol Of she goes to the beauty parlour, bet you cant wait to get her back As eric said get some pics in the bodyshop. i will try my very best to get some in between photos and yes chaz cant wait to get it back looking like an escort lol

well got all the panels and off she went wont see it for a few weeks now plenty of time to prep my other bits lol

well i pick all the panels up on monday morning and off the SE all white cabriolet goes to be rebuilt lol all going well i should get some piccys in between welds lol unless the welder says fook off ollie

just an update car seems to hold charge since i have removed the ford standard radio still got to do the current check as advised by mick but fitted fully charged battery left for a few days and fine left again for a few more days and started up again this morning so alice will just have to sing to herself for now lol till i have time to look at it
