Wheels are a personal thing, mine are the original lattice type, they ok but i keep them on as i try to keep the car original.

Lovely car, looks good in red. Nice wheels too.
  13. I have a 1.6 efi,its out of a very early mk5. Will be taking it out soon to replace with a zetec or rs2000. It can be seen running as it is still in the car. It also will have the wiring loom, ecu and gearbox attached. It also has power steering attached. I live in Bedfordshire.
  14. Might sound stupid but have you power washed the engine ? I once had the same problem on a differant car and it turned out to be a bit of water in the distributer cap,was fine until the vehicle went round corners and the water shorted the power out.
  15. They look realy good, but still prefer grey leather like the originals.
  16. If you still have your old one, it can be repaired and overhauled at a rad centre.
  17. If you want an alloy one try auto specialists, i have had two from there approx £200.00
  18. Also it could be your alternator not charging the battery,so when you are driving the car the battery is being drained. Good luck.
  19. Get your battery checked,it may be no good,or your starting motor may be faulty. Fuel gauge is fine it should register fuel reading when ignition is off.
  20. What cab have you got ? mk3,4,5 or 6
  21. Well done to the winners, you have set the standard for others to follow.
  22. As i said m8 i will take 2 metres, can pay pal or cheque,or direct to your account if prefered. Regards Ian.
