allblue
Hi and welcome, Glad to see some more mk6's as they are underrepresented. Careful drilling of the screws and a extractor tool are your best options.

Guest bantamboy
not done much lately due to work comitments e.t.c I have fitted the front part of the exhaust and ordered a mantex sports system today looking forward to fitting it there is what I presume to be a fuel filter under the back end of the car this is leaking and looking very rusty so this will need to be changed I will take a pic of it tomorrow and maybe someone could confirm that it is a fuel filter
allblue
If it;s a cylinder type thing by the rear of the fuel tank, yes. Be careful getting the push fit lines off as they are plastic, may require some penetrating oil to help free them. One of mine was stuck on, so I had to cut it to free the filter. Guest bantamboy
how do the fuel lines come off and where can iget a filter thanks
allblue
Ford or other motor factors. There are two lugs on the fuel line connectors, you simply push these in and carefully pull the line from the filter.
