Ready To Throw A Tantrum Type Of Project

Hi..

I am new to the forum but not a new owner.

Before I show my little pride and joy .. I really need some help.

 

So I've removed the 6 bolts to take out rear head rest but still no luck. What am I doing wrong! I've got the rest of seat out but just not that bit.

 

Secondly - my drivers seat latch is broken. Seat won't lock into place can move it forward and back to let people in and out the rear seat but can't lock into place.

Is this an easy fix? I'm half way through taking the black plastic of the back but can't work out how to pop the latch surround out nor can I get the clips for head rest out?

 

Any help would be highly appreciated.

What model,mk3,4,5 or 6,

Think the front seat tilting device is a cable,will have to have a look when i go to my lock up.

The last 3 mk5 upper rear seats I have removed have always been tight but once all bolts removed should just lift up out the way the ends slide in near where the bolts come out if my memory's right will have look at mine tommow when I am back home

Thank you all - turns out i was just stupidly weak and my husband got it out when he got home. Thanks guys.
