Guest Royv412
Hi guys, Sorry if this has been asked previously, I've had a quick search through but didn't find an answer, i have noticed recently moisture has started appearing on the inside of the glass in my MK5b. The carpets are bone dry, checked right up to the pedals incase it was the hater matrix but bone dry, checked the boot again bone dry, I stuck a dehumidifier in the car for a couple of days and had about a litre of water in the catch can, next morning moisture all over the inside of the glass again. Completely stumped, has anyone had this problem? I need to sort it as there have been signs of mould developing and I don't want the car getting ruined! Cheers Roy
Ian71
Hi Roy, is the car left outside or garaged, also do you use the car as a daily driver.
Guest Royv412
It's outside, I did Havana a cover for it last winter but I've since lost it, it's not a daily drive, at this time of year I try and run it at least once if not twice a week
Ian71
Right, i see , i have a couple of donor cars outside and they do suffer at this time of year wth exactly the same symptons as your car. Its the british weather i,m afraid unless you use them everyday or put them in a garage they will get damp inside and the seats do go a bit mouldy. I might be an idea if the weather is dry at the weekends to leave the windows ajar.
Guest Royv412
Thanks for the advice hopefully I can get a couple of dry days and get the windows open, easier said than done though up here in Scotland!
Vincygav
I have noticed most cars being doing this a couple days this month. You see the windscreen misted up. Mainly ones not used everyday or if left for 2-3 days without driving - even mine. Also down in part to the rain on and off.

woodspeedcreations
Hi there has any one tried a old sock full of cat litter just leave it on the dash and change it when i gets damp it works on mine as it absorbes the moisture in the air
