Right it a big issue for me Ive drove my cabby as a daily for last 2 years but wont be this year but I expect to tax it for 6 months every year an daily use it then use the MK4 tintop for winter.

Anyway last year cost me alot of cash needed a new Petrol Tank , Exhaust, so then I more or less went round the whole 4 corners new damper springs bushes pads disc ECT... only to get a shudder on the front end when breaking down from 40 to 30 mph.

Had it on ramps today had quick once over looked ok so prolly a warped disc as Lenny thought .But my new Exhaust is getting ground down the mount in the middle snapped off the edge of the sills have been ground abit not really happy.

So lenny AKA farther Inlaw said try some Coil spring raiser/ assisters so am goin to buy some anyone no the spacing in the springs? my rear spring are of a estate but cant see there being to much difference any 1 tried this an any tips for speed bumps

Never had speed bump problems myself, only the odd exhaust scrape. I should imagian the estate springs are same as cabriolet if not tougher to accommodate the extra weight. Roads must be shite where you are lol, I drive slammed vw`s and have no issues round my way!

Roads are bad here m8 theres a major bus route and fire station at the top plus wagons so they push the road down and the bump are made higher I could cry tbh

saying that there seems to be no regulation round the city on bump its more so them lil square ones that *fiif* ye over
