Guest Aaron James Sadler
Hi All, I thought i would post some pics of my project and i will update this as i go along It needs a fair bit of work at the moment, the hardest bit i'm finding is getting the parts i need So far i have ordered some clear indicators, and i am picking up a body kit off another car with a set of 4 alloys. It does need a new roof and a respray (as some clever twit painted the car in hammerite) Pics:

Guest Aaron James Sadler
Just a quick update on what i have done, and where my mind is at now with the project... also i need opinions on whether it is worth carrying on with the project I have changed the front bumper to the RS bumper, which looks great but the gaps between the wings and the bumper are huge so i will have to drill some new holes in the mounts. I have also changed the front and side indicators to clear ones to make it look a bit better, and i have sorted the stereo wiring. I now need to get the sub cables run down the car which i need to take the dash out to get the cable through the bulk head :/ But my main worry now is that cables run every direction under the carpets, one of the old owners has fitted a switch for the fuel injector, an after market immobiliser and alarm, the aerial is also on a switch on the dash, all of which the cables run in no specific way or place, also the roof motor has cables attached but nothing to plug into On top of having to rewire and reroute all those cables i need to find a roof and tension bar, a new oil / air separator (ridiculously priced) prep the whole car for paint... which is where my enthusiasm has stopped... the price of fixing all of that and prepping for paint takes it well over £1000 then paint being an easy £1000 again, i'm stuck where it would cost less to buy a full working one in good shape for less than fixing this one... so what do you think guys is it worth the hassle and money to fix this one or should i just sell and get one which is in better shape? Guest Aaron James Sadler
if i do decide to carry on... how much in your opinion would it cost to get it sprayed gloss black?... inc prep work
Guest Lee81
£950 to £2000. Depends on the condition of bodywork and how good a finish your after. Black shows up everything so alot more prep is generally needed
