Car washes are the work of the devil,they scratch your car and as for taking a cabby through one any cabby,omfg!!!!

I put my all blue though an automatic car wash once, back in 2001-ish.

It was ok to be honest.

 

The most scary part was at the time, I had an RS bonnet.

As soon as I drove out you could see the steam escaping through the vents :blink:

 

Was ok though.

ButwWouldn't recommend on a car with excellent paintwork though.

dunno if its just me, but im kinda lost after reading the replies, any car will go through one, but in a cab your more than likley going to get wet. aswell as the posibility of damaging the paintwork and/or parts.

 

i prefer to show the car some love and do it by hand, and do a proper job of it.
