Guest PhilKing
I just a little bit smug at the moment as all my friends and relatives are paying through the nose for car insurance, im paying £197 fully comp with out any NCB, I think I've stumbled upon really cheap motoring especially when a mate of mine in Runcorn pays more per month for his cabby than I've just paid for a whole year! Guest mic
although cheap, 3000 miles is only 57 miles a week so not great for those who use it daily for work etc. but for the ones who use it as a weekend car then yea great! i was suprised when i was quoted £850 for a standard mk4 xr3i but £597 for a renault gt turbo and a punto turbo. both a lot quicker than an xr3i around the same age. i'll never understand how they price it all up. iansoutham
Peter D. James for me. 1986 cabby valued @ £4,500 on agreed value, no mileage limitation, no NCD required, alarm optional, but must be garaged if @ storage location after 10pm and before 6am, but can be parked on the road or anywhere if elsewhere. £50 excess, 2 drivers just over 30 years old. £141. Extra £80 added the 2000e to the policy as well. They also quoted me £81 for the Pop
Guest Savage
I thought I got a good deal last time round. Looking at this thread, I think I was robbed! Last year was just under £900 Fully Comp on admiral multi for: 1 x 56 mondeo 2.0 1 x 1.6 94 esc cab (limited 5k miles) 1 x 1.8 95 esc cab si (130). The wife pays £975 just for hers with me as a named driver to bring it down. Without me it rockets to over £2,500!!! This year I'm trying to sort out a fleet policy as it should in theory be cheaper but I'm going to try the guys you lot have been using.
